Fluids I use on my subie
I have been using Royal Purple going on 3 years now, it is little pricey but I think its worth it. Oil 5w30, Synchro Max manual transmission fluid, and 75w90 rear diff.

GuamSTI wrote:Can you find out how much the fluids cost for the manual trans and rear diff, might as well do the engine oil as well. Is it hard to change the trans and rear diff oil?
I will give you the money to purchase if you don't mind.
A quart is $8.57, and 75W90 with diff additive $15.74, and Synchro manual trans is $12.74 may be off a couple of cents Jay.

Re: Fluids I use on my subie
When I saw Royal Purple at NAPA, i was also tempted to buy, but prestige will probably charge me for their oil anyway. so maybe next time, when the US economy is in better shape!!! hehehe...

I also saw royal purple engine oil filters, wonder if that is a good investment for the subies.
