ignition immobilizer Empty ignition immobilizer

okok prestige said my new key needs to be programmed with a code but i know for a fact my sti key does not have a chip for coding... anyone know if there is a way to bypass the ignition immobilizer or to disable it somehow?

feedback and thoughts...

dom from orange said he can do it... grr i just have to wait til i bring him out to tune... sigh... its through the ecu no hardware hack... Razz

hey thanks for sharing the site. i want to ask though if there are aftermarket for the ignition immobilizer and what would cause them to not function properly?

So I'm understanding you correctly, you purchased an earlier STi key (non-immoblizer type)?

Not quite sure what you're asking here. Are you asking if there is an aftermarket ignition system for your car? OR are you asking about an immobilizer issue you're experiencing....OR both?
