Chair brackets
Whats up SCG. I am planning to replace my current impreza front seats for after market. The question is, is there any possibility that i can retain my brackets and utilize it with the after market chairs? I do not want to drill any holes on my deck. help please.

Re: Chair brackets
Our cars are popular platforms for modification, I'm sure there are bolt-on brackets to mate to your aftermarket seat of choice. I've seen Recaro brackets for instance at a Japanese after-parts store a few years ago and it was a bolt-on affair with sliders; no drilling
I'm sure the popular brands have a solution for us. Just need to look for them. Maybe Dom from Orange can chime in here.

Re: Chair brackets
No problem, easy
Here are a couple references (I've not used these companies, just pointing out the fact that they are available), check out these links:
Recaro adapter:
http://www.modacar.com/products/Subaru/Impreza/RSSBK/Recaro+Seat+Sliders+and+B.html
Sparco adapter:
http://www.racinglab.com/sparco-seat-flat-base-071.html
I hope this helps. I wish I had cash to burn on aftermarket seats

I have aftermarket seats on my car before. I still have the seat it is a Sparco Rev with a base and slider for the Impreza. I installed it and did not have any modification.
BTW it is for sale but the seat is small very nice for autocross but not very nice to get in out of everyday that is why i removed it.

Re: Chair brackets
Thanks alot J for the reference.
GuamSTI you mention that your seats are for autocross, i'm looking towards comfortable seats for daily driving. Thanks anyways.

Re: Chair brackets
Not really sure if the Evo's are comfortable. Buy the Recaro Ergomed ES really got good reviews. You can always buy a car specific seat base for aftermarket seats.
