"Optional" subwoofer <Subaroofer?>

Not sure how earlier Subarus came equipped but I didn't get the "optional" subwoofer in my '08 WRX. It just came with the AUX input/jack. Does anyone with an '08 Impreza have one that I can listen to for a first hand opinion? Stereo sounds lame without a sub...only great consolation is the hum of the boxer

nope i dont have a sub option...that i know of...had very little time when sales person when buying the car cuz it came down to which company would deliver a car the fastest...if nissan was a bit faster i wouldve been in a g37s...
but anyways...i have aux as well... dont see anything for a sub...unless removing the player than ya can see if there is a red/white for direct sub...if not there are ways around it to input a sub still

Appears to be a plug-n-play install. I think the harness exists for it under the driver seat. I was hoping someone had it for impressions of how it performed. I was a huge audiophile years ago and would do any audio install in an instant....I'm getting old and want ease of installation and to sound like sardines....cheap but satisfying
