Time Attack II

Based on the schedule this can not happen until August because all our schedules are at the drag strip. What's the plan?

We still have time to double check. Is there any chance we can check if we can utilize the parking lot? Is there an event that would prevent us from hosting a time attack? I know alot of racers are waiting for this event and I think we are the only ones scheduled for the track on the 13th. If it comes to where we cant do it...we can host another quarter cross or fund raise to host the track users BBQ / Car show! (just an idea)...

Damm...just saw your post on the updated track schedule..wonder if the supermoto guys will be willing to switch venues.!!!! They can utilize the smaller area for the moto races....

Update we can use the date scheduled for the GRSCCA until August

So I presume the summer series is no
longer happening. Do we get discounts too?

I think to get more participation out of our own members we should extend the discount to paid SCG members only.

Right on, Glad you like it...I will post where i can, just need to add the rules and regulations, on our Forum and the Drag Forum. If you can get me the list i can make an offical rules and regs sheet.

Group fee discount:

1. Any car club that has more than 4 participants get a $2.00 discount on the race fees for each participant.

2. Any SCG member(dues paid) gets also a $2.00 discount of the race fee

Schedule:

1. practice starts at 10:00 am to 11:30 am (clockwise direction)
2. Practice 11:30am to 1:00 pm (counter clockwise direction)
3. 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm break for lunch/gas/air/cars final check.
4. 1:30 race begins. The direction we go will be decided by a coin toss.
5. Registration will be open from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm however there will be no consideration of extending the practice times and if the clockwise direction is finished you can not do it anymore. So please come on time.
6. Safety is of utmost importance and anybody deemed unsafe will be warned once and then will be disqualified a second time around for this particular race day.
7. It is advisable to equip each car with a fire extinguisher.
8. Helmet,Shoes, and a sleeved shirt is required at the very least.
9. tech inspections will be open as people register. It is also on a first come first served basis.

Sorry...been busy lately. The next Time Attack looks fast and good. The discounts on the car club and paid members is a good idea. I'll do all I can to keep my calender open for this event. Long Live the SCG

Yes. I will just buy new batteries just to be sure. I think we used up all our batteries already. I'll try to check for some rechargeable ones too.

Yo....anyone there Yeah, I've been off the forum and out of the loop a bit also, but I'm here now.

Rex if your out there...we're gonna miss ya...sorry we couldn't show...and since this is the Time Attack II posting...your gonna miss one hella event.

How can you speed freaks go wrong??? Four laps of in yo face balls out d**Ks dragging racing, or jamming...whichever you prefer.

Come on out and join the event...see the world and what it has to offer

I just want to see if there will be anybody from the SCG that will be at this event. So far only Scott has confirmed to make it. Dennis and Jonathan cannot make it. I need a few people to run the event. So I can make arrangements just in case.
